Privacy Policy
Flightless Bird · updated 5 August 2026
The short version
Flightless Bird collects nothing. There are no accounts, no ads and nothing to buy. Your scores, achievements and settings live on your phone. The game has no analytics, no crash reporting and no suggestion form — it has no network code in it at all, so there is nothing to send and nowhere to send it.
This is the whole policy. Everything below is only that same sentence, said in the places people expect to find it.
What stays on your phone
Your best score, best level, longest run, games played, pipes cleared, which achievements you have unlocked, and every setting — language, theme, bird colour, sound and haptics — are stored on the device itself. They are not uploaded, they are not backed up to us, and deleting the app deletes them.
Achievements → Reset all progress clears the lot on demand, without asking anyone.
What is never collected
- Anything about youNo name, no email, no account, no identifier of any kind — not even an anonymous one generated for this installation.
- Your IP addressThe game makes no requests, so no server of ours ever sees one. We do not run a server.
- How you playNo analytics. Nobody knows which theme you picked, how far you got, or that you opened the app at all.
- Crash reportsNo crash reporting SDK. If the game crashes, we find out the way you would: by it crashing on our own phones.
- Contacts, photos, location, microphone or health dataThe game never asks for any of it, and the app does not include the permissions to.
- Anything for advertisingThere are no ads and no advertising identifier is used. The Android build blocks the advertising ID permission outright.
What Apple sees, which is not us
Downloading the game is a transaction between you and Apple, and it is governed by Apple’s privacy policy rather than this one. If you have turned on sharing analytics with developers in your iPhone settings, Apple may show us anonymous, aggregated figures — installs and crash counts — in App Store Connect. We never receive anything that identifies a person, and turning that setting off removes even the aggregate.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and Turkey’s KVKK you may ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. The answer here is that we hold nothing, so there is nothing to produce, correct or erase. If you would like that in writing, ask at hello@madeit.ist and you will get it.
Children
Flightless Bird is a one-tap arcade game with no chat, no social features and no purchases. It is not directed at children under 13, and since it collects nothing it collects nothing about them either.
Changes
If the game ever starts collecting something, this page changes before the version that collects it ships, and the date at the top moves. There is no version of this policy that is more current than the one you are reading.
